The Ephemeral Dampiera fusca: Tinderry Range

In February 2013 I joined a fieldtrip to the Tinderry Range in NSW with botanists and staff from the Australian National Botanic Gardens. The aim was to search for and collect seeds from the endangered and ephemeral plant, Dampiera fusca, found only in a few locations on the eastern edge of the Southern Tablelands. Features of the landscape, such as granite tors and the impact of bushfire on the vegetation, informed the artwork.
